Fusebox 2020

I april 2020 reiser vi med norske scenekunst-kompanier til festivalen Fusebox i Austin,TX, USA. I samarbeid med festivalen søker Danse- og teatersentrum kompanier som ønsker å arbeide aktivt med nettverk og promotering i det Nord-Amerikanske markedet.

Siden 2012 har vi årlig arrangert Norway Now i New York. Her får norske kompanier muligheten til å pitche for bransjeaktører. I tillegg de muligheten til å delta på seminarer og nettverksmøter. Denne suksessen ble videreført i 2018 under bransjemessen CINARS i Montreal, der vi samarbeidet med vår kanadiske partner Facinator Management. I april i år ble den også videreført under festivalen Fusebox i Austin, TX, USA.

Vi arbeider målrettet mot festivaler og messer som finner sted og samlingspunktene ved disse. Gjennom rapporter fra deltakerne, og direkte resultater, ser vi at arbeidet gir gode muligheter til samarbeid med aktører i Nord-Amerika og markedene for øvrig.

Vi vil være tilstede i Austin 15.- 19. April 2020 med en delegasjon norske kompanier. Fokus blir på dialogen mellom det norske og det amerikanske scenekunstmiljøet. Det arrangeres blant annet nettverskmøter, kuraterte møtepunkter i samarbeid med festivalen, studiobesøk og festivaldeltagelse.

En representant fra kompaniet må kunne være i Austin fra 15.- 19. April 2020.

SØKNAD

Søknadsfrist er 15. januar 2020

Søknaden skal sendes inn på engelsk via søknadsskjemaet under. Informasjonen som legges inn i søknadsskjemaet vil bli brukt i katalogen, så vær nøye med detaljene.

Søknadsskjema

Danse- og teatersentrum vil kunne subsidiere hvert kompani med en andel til reise og opphold. Det forutsettes alltid en egenandel.

Fusebox 2020

We are traveling with Norwegian companies to the festival Fusebox in Austin,TX, USA in April 2020. In collaboration with the festival, Performing Arts Hub Norway seeks companies that want to work actively with networks and promotion in the North American market.

Since 2012 we have annually arranged "Norway Now" in New York where Norwegian company’s pitch / present themselves and participate in seminars and network meetings. This success was continued during the CINARS in Montreal in 2018 in collaboration our Canadian partner and during the Fusebox festival in Austin, TX, USA in April 2019.

We work purposefully towards festivals and fairs that take place and the gathering points of them. Through reports from the participants and direct results, we see that the work provides good opportunities for cooperation with North America and the international market in general.

We will be present in Austin from 15.- 19. April 2020 with a delegation of Norwegian companies. The focus will be on the dialogue between the Norwegian and American performing arts environments through networking, curated meeting points in collaboration with the festival, studio visits and festival attendance etc.

A representative from the company must be in Austin from 15.- 19. April 2020.

APPLICATION

By 15 January 2020 we would like a short application. The application must be submitted via the application form below in english. The information entered in the application form will be used in the catalog which will be prepared for the event, so be careful with the details. Performing Arts Hub Norway will be able to subsidize each company with an amount for travel and accommodation, but the travels will not be fully funded by this amount.
