Søk om online presentasjon i Kina - frist 10. desember!

Som en del av promoteringen av Festspillene i Bergens digitale innhold i Kina har vi muligheten til å presentere scenekunst fra Norge til kinesiske programmerer og publikum.

Kina tilbyr flere digitale plattformer med kulturelt innhold som Tencent Art, Youku, TikTok, Bilibili, iQiyi og Kuaishou. Den fremtidige kommunikasjonen og samspillet mellom kunstnere og publikum kan være med å utnytte mulighetene i ny teknologi og digitale plattformer.

Vi tilbyr scenekunstnere og kompanier basert i Norge muligheten til å presentere sitt kunstneriske arbeid virtuelt. I samarbeid med vår kinesiske partner Hermark Culture ser vi etter kreative ideer og kunstnerne som kommunisere med publikum på nye måter. Noen kunstnere har spilte inn forestillinger uten publikum og andre har opptreden utendørs. Vi ser etter ulike typer forestillinger og prosjekter som har oppstått i lockdown-perioden.

Hva innebærer den virtuelle presentasjon?

Innsendt materialle vil bli satt sammen av en redaktør til en presentasjon tilpasset digitale plattformer i Kina.

Hvem kan søke?

Scenekunstnere eller kompanier basert i Norge kan søke, hvis de:

• har verk klar til turné og et mål om visninger i Asia

• har videomateriale av høy kvalitet (trailer eller opptak i full lengde) av verkene de vil presentere. Disse må være tilgjengelige online (f.eks. Vimeo / Youtube)

Du kan søke ved å fylle ut søknadsskjemaet innen torsdag 10. desember kl. 16.00 CET

6-8 deltakere vil bli valgt ut. Valget vil bli gjort av Hermark Culture, og beslutningene vil bli kommunisert til alle søkere innen fredag 18. desember.

Apply for online presentations in China - deadline 10th December!

As part of promoting Bergen International Festival digital content in China, we have the possibility to promote performing arts companies from Norway to Chinese presenters and audiences.

In China, several digital platforms are now offering cultural content, such as Tencent Art, Youku, TikTok, Bilibili, iQiyi and Kuaishou. They have attracted millions of online viewers. The impact of the online media platforms is very influential. The future communication and interaction between artists and the audience may highly reply on the technology and digital platforms.

We offer offer performing art artists and companies based in Norway the opportunity to present their artistic work virtually. In collaboration with our Chinese partner Hermark Culture, we look for creative ideas and artists who communicate with the audience in new ways. Some artists have recorded performances without the audience and others have performed outdoors. We look for different types of performances and projects that have occurred during the lockdown period.

What does the virtual presentation entail?

Submitted material will be compiled by an editor for a presentation adapted to digital platforms in China.

Who can apply?

Artists or companies based in Norway can apply, if they 

• have works ready to tour and an aim to perform with them in Asia

• have high quality video material (trailer or full-length recording) of the works they want to present. These need to be accessible online (eg. Vimeo/Youtube)

You can apply by filling out the application form by Thursday 10 December at 16.00 CET

6-8 participants will be selected. The choice will be made by Hermark Culture, and the decisions will be communicated to all applicants by Friday 18 December.
