CINARS 2020 - 2021

Danse- og teatersentrum søker kompanier som ønsker å arbeide aktivt med nettverk og promotering i det Nord-Amerikanske markedet. Koronasituasjonen fører til at CINARS legger opp til et todelt program – CINARS WEB november 2020 og CINARS Biennale i mai 2021.

CINARS er et marked som vanligvis arrangeres annethvert år, og er en av de viktigste internasjonale møteplassene for programmerere, journalister og andre profesjonelle innen scenekunstfeltet. Danse- og teatersentrum har siden 2002 arbeidet tett med CINARS, både for å bygge kunnskap om den internasjonale arena, og for å formidle kunnskap om norsk scenekunst internasjonalt.

Det fysiske markedet er flyttet til mai 2021, men de planlegger en digital plattform i November 2020.

I 2020/2021 vil Danse- og teatersentrum være tilstede under den nordiske paraplyen ”Nordics Combined” sammen med våre samarbeidspartnere fra Sverige, Danmark og Finland. Se mer info om Nordics Combined under Engelsk open call.

Vi ser etter kompanier har mulighet til å delta i november 2020 samt mai 2021. Det vil være fokus på dialogen mellom bådet det norske og det nordiske scenekunstmiljøet samt fokus på Nord-Amerika. Det vil bli arrangert blant annet nettverskmøter, kuraterte møtepunkter i samarbeid med våre nordiske og canadiske partnere i forkant, under den digitale plattformen og under selve CiINARS i mai 2021.

Søknadsfrist er 10. august 2020

Søknaden skal sendes inn på engelsk via søknadsskjemaet under.

Danse- og teatersentrum vil kunne subsidiere hvert kompani med en andel til reise og opphold. Det forutsettes alltid en egenandel.

CINARS 2020 - 2021

We are seeking companies that want to work actively with networks and promotion in the North American market. COVID-19 har caused CINARS to create a two-part program - CINARS WEB November 2020 and the CINARS Biennale in May 2021.

CINARS is a performing arts market that is usually held every two years . It is one of the most important international networking arenas for artists, programmers, journalists and performing arts professionals. Since 2002, PAHN has worked closely with CINARS, both to build knowledge on the international arena and to share knowledge of Norwegian performing arts internationally.

The Biennale has been moved to May 2021, but is planning a digital platform in November 2020.

In 2020/2021, PAHN will be present under the Nordic umbrella “Nordics Combined” together with our partners from Sweden, Denmark and Finland. We are therefore looking for companies that can take part in a longer run focusing on the dialogue between both the Norwegian and the Nordic performing arts as well as the International with a focus on North America. Activities will include networking meetings, curated meeting points in collaboration with our Nordic and Canadian partners in advance, under the digital platform and under the CINARS itself in May 2021.

By August 11th 2020 we would like a short application. The application must be submitted via the application form below in english.

Performing Arts Hub Norway will be able to subsidize each company with an amount for travel and accommodation, but the travels will not be fully funded by this amount.

ABOUT Nordics Combined

Nordics Combined is a network of Nordic agencies and information centers promoting Nordic performing arts internationally. Nordics Combined works to create and facilitate networks and artistic and market opportunities for Nordic performing artists and companies. The network initiates and carries out joint projects, coordinates promotional activities and exchanges information. 
The network consists of Performing Arts Hub Norway, The Swedish Arts Council, The Agency for Culture and Palaces, Denmark, Dance Info Finland and Circus Info Finland.
