“I want to express my gratitude for the opportunity to be part of this residency. It has not only advanced my artistic practice but also reinforced my belief in the power of cross-cultural exchange and collaborative creation.”
“The center is perfectly equipped with everything needed for a residency at my stage, which allowed for concentration and focus. It has been possibly one of the best accommodations ever, set in a natural landscape that was fundamental in providing rest and space for thoughts and creativity.

“The uninterrupted time at Dale in Sunnfjord and the freedom to use the rehearsal space and theatre allowed us to deepen our artistic research without external pressure. Combined with the openness and availability of our host, the overall residency left a long-lasting mark on the production process of HIT.”
“I think the way this center is running their preparations with the company is outstanding and could be used as an example for other residencies. We were able to combine stage work with light and sound together with field research – caves – which gave a rare opportunity to develop the choreography in parallel with visiting actual caves. The understanding and generosity from the people at the center itself for our artistic process made it possible to keep full focus on the artistic process. This residency was a crucial step in finalizing the performance.”
