Søk om virtuelle presentasjoner på TPAM i februar 2021 - frist allerede 30. november!

TPAM Performing Arts Meeting i Yokohama er et årlig profesjonelt nettverksarrangement for scenekunst, og det vil bli organisert virtuelt og online 6.-14. Februar 2021.

Neste februar vil TPAM tilby scenekunstnere og kompanier basert i Norge muligheten til å presentere sitt kunstneriske arbeid virtuelt, og med fokus på Asia. Danse- og teatersentrum og Dance Info Finland arrangerer en felles pitch/presentasjon i løpet av 9. - 11. februar (nøyaktig dato bekreftes). I dette arrangementet presenterer profesjonelle scenekunstnere og kompanier sitt kunstnerskap samt 1-2 av sine forstillinger som er klar til å turnere i Asia.

Hva innebærer den virtuelle presentasjon?

Presentasjon (Pitch)-arrangementet vil bli avholdt delvis live på Zoom og Youtube, men presentasjonene vil også inneholde 4-5 minutter forhåndsinnspilte innlegg. Disse vil bli forhåndsredigert i desember-januar. Materialet er eksisterende trailere og innspillinger av verk samt en kort muntlig presentasjon, som hver deltaker vil spille inn i henhold til instruksjoner som vil bli gitt i løpet av uke 50-51 (spesialutstyr eller plass til filming er ikke nødvendig). Materialet blir levert en redaktør 18. desember, som vil stå for den endelige klippingen. De muntlige presentasjonene vil bli gjort på engelsk og deretter tekstet til japansk.

Hvem kan søke?

Scenekunstnere eller kompanier basert ii Norge kan søke, hvis de:

• har verk klar til turné og et mål om visninger i Japan og / eller Asia

• har videomateriale av høy kvalitet (trailer eller opptak i full lengde) av verkene de vil presentere. Disse må være tilgjengelige online (f.eks. Vimeo / Youtube)

• kan filme en 1-3 minutter lang muntlig presentasjon i løpet av uke 50-51 i desember

• kan delta under TPAM online-programmet 9.-11. februar. Merk at arrangementstidene er mellom 05-11 CET, men det norsk-finske pitching-arrangementet vil forhåpentligvis bli arrangert nærmere 11.00.

Du kan søke ved å fylle ut søknadsskjemaet innen mandag 30. november kl. 16.00 CET

6-8 deltakere fra Norge blir valgt ut. Valget vil bli gjort av en gruppe japanske produsenter samt arrangørene av TPAM, og beslutningene vil bli kommunisert til alle søkere innen mandag 7. desember.

Apply for virtual presentations at TPAM in February 2021 - deadline already 30th November!

TPAM Performing Arts Meeting in Yokohama is an annual professional and networking event for performing arts and it will be organized mostly or entirely virtually and online on February 6-14, 2021.

Next February TPAM will offer performing art artists and companies based in Norway a chance to present their artistic work virtually to international performing arts professionals, especially in Asia. Performing Arts Hub Norway and Dance Info Finland organise a joint pitch presentation some time during 9-11th February (exact date to be confirmed). In this event performing arts professionals - artists and representatives of companies - based in Norway and Finland present themselves and 1-2 of their current work that is ready to tour in Asia.

What does the virtual pitch event entail?

The pitching event will be held partially live on Zoom and Youtube, but the pitch presentations themselves will be 4-5 minutes long pre-recorded inserts. These will be edited already in December-January of existing trailers and recordings of works and of a short verbal presentation, which each participant will record themselves according to instructions during weeks 50-51 (special equipment or space for filming is not required). The inserts will not be edited by oneself, but the material will be delivered by 18th December to the editor. The verbal presentations will be made in English and subtitled later on in Japanese.

Who can apply?

Artists or company representatives based in Norway can apply, if they 

• have works ready to tour and an aim to perform with them in Japan and/or Asia

• have high quality video material (trailer or full-length recording) of the works they want to present. These need to be accessible online (eg. Vimeo/Youtube)

• can film a 1-3 minutes long verbal presentation during weeks 50-51 in December

• can participate virtually to the TPAM online program at least during 9-11th February. Note, that the event times are between 05-11 CET, but the Norwegian-Finnish pitching event will hopefully be arranged closer to 11.00.

6-8 participants from Norway will be selected. The selection will be made by a group of Japanese producers assembled by the organizers of TPAM and the decisions will be communicated to all applicants by Mon 7th December.
