PERFORMING LANDSCAPES Baltic/Nordic

Metropolis - Art and Performance in Public Space is inviting artists, collectives, curators, academics, and arts institutions that work at the interface of the arts and ecology to a series of presentation workshops in around 10 Nordic/ Baltic cities. They will focus on the theme landscape in the context of the current ecological breakdown and climate crisis.

Metropolis are aiming to create a Nordic/Baltic platform for collaboration from 2025 including artistic exchanges and residencies. 26 of April PAHN vil host a workshop in Oslo with Metropolis.

Oslo workshop will take place on 26/04, 15:00-18:00 (18:00-19:00 informal part). Held at Performing Arts Hub Norway, Observatoriegata 1B

At this time they’re proposal is to share experiences, methods, aesthetics and resources to support an emerging typology of creative processes where the performance, dance, theatre and visual arts can take on a more critical, creative and supportive role in a state of ecological emergency.

The workshops will be organised in collaboration with local leading artistic drivers and will take place in: Kuopio (9/04), Helsinki (11/04), Tallinn, Kaunas (19/04), Oslo (26/04), Gdansk (30/04), Riga (10/05), Drusti (11/05), Stockholm, Copenhagen
