  • To present the Swedish performing arts landscape, Ulricha Johnson, CEO of Scensverige – the Swedish Performing Arts Coalition, joins us. Scensverige is the country’s largest member organisation for the professional performing arts sector. It serves as a national competence centre, promoting performing arts both domestically and internationally through collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and idea exchange. Scensverige also functions as the Swedish Centre for the International Theatre Institute (ITI).

Geir Lindahl, International Project Manager for CPH STAGE, will present the Danish performing arts landscape. CPH STAGE is Denmark’s largest theatre festival for professional performing arts, held annually in Copenhagen and Frederiksberg. It showcases over 100 performances across genres—including drama, dance, and immersive works—and is dedicated to fostering international exchange and collaboration through its “International Exchange” and “International Days” programmes.

To present the Norwegian performing arts landscape, Hege Knarvik Sande, CEO of Performing Arts Hub Norway (PAHN), will lead the conversation. PAHN is a national competence centre that elevates and promotes professional performing arts—particularly independent theatre, dance, and performance—both within Norway and internationally. The organisation advises the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on international arts initiatives, manages related travel grant schemes, and develops knowledge and networks for the field.

    We are also joined by:

Kate Deans, International Officer at Creative Scotland, who will present NEMO – Northern European Mobility Opportunity, a new pilot programme led by the Nordic Culture Fund in collaboration with Creative Scotland and other UK and Irish arts councils. NEMO supports early-career artists and cultural practitioners to build cross-border exchanges and partnerships between the Nordic region, the UK, and Ireland, offering funding for travel, networking, and collaborative project development.

Einar M. Schistad, Director of Nøtterøy Kulturhus, a leading cultural venue in southern Norway known for presenting a wide range of national and international performing arts. Einar will introduce the new Nordic touring network and share insights on how to connect with presenters across the Nordic region.

Adam J. K. Potrykus, Founding Director of Stockholm Fringe Festival (STOFF) and initiator of the Baltic Nordic Fringe Network (BNFN) – a collaboration of festivals across seven countries creating touring circuits and opportunities for artists through a joint open call – will present the network and its collaborations
